Their all mechanical gadgets that can and will break from time to time. Probably not a bow brand out there that hadn't had their fair share of problems. Your probably not gonna like this either, but it is what it is. May be just a coincidence but it's happened enough to convince me to stay away from pse. Seems like every time I've seen or I hear of a bow exploding or "breaking" in the field, it's a pse. I know this won't be a popular opinion but it is what it is. We have some sick deals on some bare bows at the shop now. I dont buy their speed bows, I have and evo and am looking at the 35 inch Decree. Almost always ranked in top 1 or 2 in each years bow review for acuracy. I'll go back with them, to me they are the best balance of accuracy and speed. They are all getting to be tough as nails. "I basicaly threw it out of the stand" and this is a TIER 1 Whining facility. How many broken bows have you seen on HERE, if a hunt situation that wasn't somthing like. It won't cost me a dime when your limb shatters, in the middle of nowhere, on a hunt you've got thousands of dollars invested in. So, I'll just say buy what you like and what you are comfortable with. I'm sure you'd just have some smart-a comment about them being fake or them all being the shooters fault. The back wall is extremely solid compared to previous Hoyt bows, and just like previous carbon bows, it's dead in the hand.Well, I suppose I could bother my buddies and clients by asking them to text me pics of their broken bows and then post them here, but what for. I love the draw cycle! It's closer to the feel of the RKT cam than to the new Z5 cam (which I would choose the RKT over the Z5), and it gives a familiar bow a completely new feel. A lot of people are saying that the draw cycle is stiff, and nowhere near as smooth as the Decree.
The Carbon Spyder ZT Turbo with Hoyt's all new turbo cam, is the first speed bow we've seen from them at 350 fps. And in my opinion, Hoyt hasn't come out with anything mind blowing enough since then for me to think about a new hunting bow.until now. Now for Hoyt… As some of you know, I currently shoot a 2012 Hoyt Carbon Element RKT. I think the Decree is going to steal the stage for PSE this year! It's awesome! The grip is also designed with a 1 degree offset to help control and eliminate hand torque. Smooth draw, solid back wall, a strong valley so you don't just bounce off the back wall as soon as you hit it. In a nutshell, it draws like an Evo, but it has the speed of a DNA! Not kidding, this bow is awesome to shoot. The Decree is really a one of a kind for PSE. The PSE Decree has probably stolen the title as my favorite PSE bow! Yes, I currently shoot Hoyt, but I try not to be bias and be as open minded as possible when it comes to bows.
